Terms of Use

End-User License Agreement (EULA) — Last updated: March 19, 2026

1. License Grant

MailMapr grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the application on any Apple-branded device that you own or control, subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

This license does not allow you to use MailMapr on any device you do not own or control, and you may not distribute or make MailMapr available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time.

2. Intellectual Property

MailMapr, including its code, design, graphics, interface, and documentation, is the intellectual property of MailMapr and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

• You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application
• You may not create derivative works based on MailMapr
• You may not remove, alter, or obscure any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notices
• The name "MailMapr", its logo, and associated branding are trademarks of MailMapr

3. Permitted Use

MailMapr is designed for lawful email analysis and forensic investigation purposes. You agree to:

• Use MailMapr only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable laws
• Ensure you have proper authorization to analyze any email files you import
• Not use MailMapr to violate the privacy rights of others
• Not use MailMapr for unauthorized surveillance or monitoring

4. No Warranty

MailMapr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

• Implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
• Accuracy or completeness of forensic analysis results
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation

Forensic analysis results produced by MailMapr are intended as investigative aids and should be verified by qualified professionals before being used in legal proceedings or official reports.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, MailMapr and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data, revenue, or profits
• Damages arising from reliance on forensic analysis results
• Business interruption or loss of business information

In no event shall our total liability exceed the amount you paid for the application.

6. Data & Privacy

MailMapr processes all data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or have access to any data you analyze. You are solely responsible for the security and handling of your email evidence files. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.

7. Open-Source Components

MailMapr incorporates the following open-source libraries:

• ZIPFoundation — MIT License © 2017–2025 Thomas Zoechling
• OLEKit — Apache License 2.0 © 2020 OLEKit contributors

8. Apple App Store Terms

If you obtained MailMapr through the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

• This EULA is between you and MailMapr, not Apple
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for MailMapr
• Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to MailMapr or your use of it
• In the event of a conflict between this EULA and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions, the Apple terms shall prevail
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of this EULA

9. Termination

This license is effective until terminated. Your rights under this license will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms. Upon termination, you must cease all use of MailMapr and destroy all copies in your possession.

10. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of MailMapr after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
